Caitlin’s practice started in 2007 when she studied massage therapy in Monterey, CA with Char Pias of the Esalen Institute. Here she learned a myriad of massage techniques from

  • Swedish massage

  • Sports massage

  • Deep tissue

  • Shiatsu

  • Thai Massage

  • Lomi Lomi

From there she grew a thriving massage practice in the central Texas region.

In 2013 she attended the Sacred Journey School of Herbal Medicine with Ginger Webb who imparted the methods she was taught in her herbal lineage of  Michael Moore. In this training, Caitlin learned how to formulate herbal concoctions, clinical and folk herbalism, how to identify plants, and how to communicate with the natural world around us. She learned the importance of plant medicine and deepened her affinity to natural healing modalities.

After a few years of formulating a small business focused on herbal medicine, she yearned for a more extensive and personalized way to help people, and this is what led her to Ayurveda.  In 2018 the journey began at the Dhyana Center in Sebastopol, Ca where she studied with Deanna Batdorff. Under Deanna she studied

  • Clinical aromatherapy,

  • Tibetan Cranial Sacral

  • Psoas release techniques

  • Advanced Pulse and Pathology

  • Subtle Bodywork

  • Women’s womb and breast care

  • Palate release

  • 100 hours of hands-on Pancha Karma therapies.

With over 700 hours, she received her Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification. Ayurveda was a catapulting point where herbalism and massage came together in a more scientific way. The place where spirit and matter meet. It connected and addressed the person as a whole; mind, body, and spirit. She continued forward to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner through Radiant Living  Academy of Ayurveda under the guidance of Patricia Wickman (AP), Dr. Anusha Senghal (BAMS), Dr. Asavari Manvikar (BAMS), and Sonia Masocco (AP). Here she has had over 1,500 hours of guidance in

  • Clinical cases

  • Mentor guidance

  • Advanced Ayurvedic herbology

  • Ayurvedic psychiatry

  • Management of chronic diseases

  • Cikitsa (treatment)

  • Ayurvedic Pathology.

She is currently working towards becoming an Ayurvedic Doctor.

She loves educating and inspiring people about the power of their bodies. She is currently seeing clients in the management of chronic & acute diseases, perinatal & postpartum care, and everyday management of diet and lifestyle. She is passionate about empowered education and moving towards teaching at the Radiant Living Academy of Ayurveda.
